Dario has worked in the financial markets since the early 1990’s. He has always been interested in understanding the ever-changing financial, economic, social, and political landscape and what it means for markets. Dario has been writing the Market Update for over ten years and it remains a critical part of his methodology to stay oriented within trends, understand changes in market relationships, and establish the parameters for trade opportunities.

Dario began his trading career while working for the Hains family office, Portland House Corporation, in Melbourne, Australia in the early 1990’s. This experience introduced him to trading within a broad macro context.

After receiving his MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Dario moved into investment banking. He gained global business and finance experience working as a senior mergers and acquisitions banker for pre-eminent investment banks including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, and New York.

With strong commercial acumen and global perspectives, Dario quickly became a trusted adviser to some of the most astute global clients such as Gillette, Schlumberger and KKR. He developed an outstanding track record of success in identifying and creating real business value for his clients.

With over 15 years of global investment banking experience and leveraging his knowledge of financial markets, Dario turned his attention back to investing and trading. He brings a real edge to his investment approach: –

Kim is a macro-economic analyst with an Undergraduate degree in economics and marketing and a Masters in marketing and commerce. She has over  twenty years of analytical, business, and marketing experience at major multi-national corporations.

Kim provides macro-economic research, communication, and administration support to the business.
