Who are we?

MCP is a financial services business that broadcasts and publishes financial education via newsletters, emails, websites and written reports. We are an Australian based business dedicated to providing global market insights for professional traders.

Our publications include:

  • The MCP Market Update

The MCP Market Update is a subscription-based weekly publication providing an objective and expert analysis of global asset markets for traders. A subscription to MCP Market Update gives traders a clear view of the markets. This holistic approach aligns the three core principles of (i) Global Macro context, (ii) Build a body of evidence, and (iii) Risk Management.

The way we do business at MCP

MCP is a Corporate Authorised Representative of DJA Capital, which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (342893), however we have chosen not to offer personal, one-on-one, financial planning advice.

That means we do not sell investment products, and we do not receive any commissions, or payments of any kind for any of our recommendations. To be crystal clear, we do not have any arrangement with any financial institution, and we do not accept advertising or speaking fees from financial institutions. We do not receive commission rebates from any broker.

General advice only – investment warning

All of our commentary, statements of opinion and recommendations in relation to financial products, whether in our publications or otherwise, contain only general advice, not personal financial product advice.

The advice provided by MCP has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.

Before acting on our commentary, statements of opinion or recommendations you should consider their appropriateness to your specific investment objectives, financial situation and needs.

If you are uncertain as to what your objectives and needs are, you should contact a financial adviser who is licensed to provide you with personal financial product advice.

We do not offer any service to you to buy or sell securities or invest in any managed fund. A list of brokers who are licenced to deal in securities is available from the Australian Securities Exchange or you can contact our Licensee, DJA Capital.

What financial services is MCP authorised to provide?

Our AFSL authorises us to provide general financial product advice for retail and wholesale clients in relation to the following classes of financial products:

  • Basic deposit products, debentures, stocks or bonds issued or proposed to be issued by a government;
  • Securities; and
  • Derivatives.

For what purposes do we use your personal data?

At any time, you may change or remove your details by contacting us.

We do not disclose any non-public, personal information about our customers, former customers, or potential customers to a third party without your express permission. We may contact you from time to time with promotional and marketing material via phone, email and mail or contact you to ask your opinion about our services. If at any time you do not wish to receive marketing material from us, please contact us and we will remove you from the relevant distribution lists.

How does MCP get paid?

MCP offers a subscription based newsletter and market updates. The prices for these products change over time but they are in the range of US$99 to US$999 each.
